You were a teacher that i could have a laugh with, but also be serious with, and I am sooo gutted that I cant say this in person because, you ment ALOT to me. Hey this is George Sariak I'm a Ex- Student from this school. Wow. I was just reading some comments on your message board and I noticed some that I had left as long ago as when I was in Year 7. I can't believe how much I and everyone and everything has changed since then.
Well, I'm in Year 10 now, doing my GCSE preparations. It's very stressful, I must admit, but don't let that put anyone off. School itself is quite stressful- more than once I've found myself walking past Thornwell and wishing I could go there again.
How's Miss Perrott getting on? The last time I visited I was told that she had or was having a baby (I can't remember which). Any news?
Anyway, I will come back very soon because I forgot to visit the Infant school last time.

Hello to everyone in Thornwell School! I want to thank you all for giving me such a fantastic ending to my years at school. I am thoroughly enjoying living and working in the Cayman Islands, where the sun shines constantly and I can swim in the ocean on my way home from school. It was quite exciting being visited by a hurricane just a few days after arriving here. I have very fond memories of Thornwell and I wish you all every success. Lots of love. xxx

We are still here living in the Canaries & are loving the laid back lifestyle that the Spanish live.

We are still learning our Spanish & Brittany seems to be picking it up the best out of us all.
We´ve been told that Ben is doing very well in school too, which is good. He is still a nutter & makes the kids laugh, but not so much at the moment as he has broken his arm :-(

It´s very hot here & we do get the odd shower, but have had no rain now for about 4 months. Ahhhh Bliss!

Hope you all had a great Easter.
No Easter eggs here in Spain, but at least that means we won´t get fat, spotty or have rotten teeth! Hehehehehee.

Heyy everyone at Thornwell! I'm mising you at loads, I really want to come back! Wyedean's an okay school, but I still hate going! The teachers are nowhere as nice as all of the staff in wonderful Thornwell! One teacher in Science the other day said that my handwriting was that of a three- year old! I was pretty hurt because in year 6, Miss Perrot knows just as well as I do that I was trying to get my handwrting better after getting a 3 in my SATS because of it! So, yeah, not enjoying it here!

To say how well behaved all your year 5's was at their concert in Chepstow Leisure Centre.
In the afternoon rehearsals and in the evening.
A very good preformance , lots of lovely singing and reading, the school should be proud of you ALL.

heya thornwell Netball tournament and football tournament was good netball came Netball 4 points behind St.Mary and we came 2nd and football came joint 2nd well done to them people and especially to chloe adams

I was very proud to collect our new computer from TESCO's this morning. I would like to thank you all, and also your mums and dads, for doing such a great job collecting the vouchers for us. Charlotte and Josh came with me this morning and did a fine job representing the school. Finally can I thank Mrs Hutchinson and all her helpers for counting out the vouchers.

Hello to everyone in Thornwell school (especially Mr Young and Mrs Orton!!) I am now in year 8 at Chepstow Comprehensive and I would just like to tell all the year 6's coming to comp that it's not actually as bad as everyone makes out. you should love all the lessons (especially I.T) and the teachers are really nice (not as nice as thornwell teachers though!!) This part of my message is mainly for Mr Young i have been interviewed by a lady called ann soeur and i am going to be in a book called "We, Children of Wales". The book shold be coming out in August/September of this year and i should hope to show all the teachers a copy of it. Hope everything is going well and I hope to visit sometime. It was really nice looking at this website, reminded me of all the good times I had in this school. We are having a fantastic time here in the Canary Islands. Ben is in level 1 in Los Christianos school, Brittany in level 2. Brittany is also learning Spanish & French & Lauren is in Level 6 learning Spanish & French.
The weather was 30 degrees today, it´s going to get hotter too.

Thornwell Primary school was the BEST primary school in the whole of Chepstow!!! It was really fun and I loved all the teachers there. There was a variety of musicals and exciting things to do!!! I LOVE THORNWELL!
