We're healthy!

It's official!

Thornwell Primary has just received the Phase 4 Healthy Schools award - ahead of time and the first school in the county to achieve it!

The award was presented because we have worked hard to introduce healthy ideas into our school day.

Here are some of the things we do....

The playground now has a quiet area where we can read or play board games.  The School Council raised money to provide new benches for the quiet area.

Our friends from Asda have painted the outside of the school in bright, cheerful colours.

There are new games painted on the playground and new toys to keep us active.
